Grain Sales & Procurement Representative

?? What You’ll Do

• Grow sales volume by building relationships with farmers, elevators, and brokers

• Drive outbound calls, market conversations, customer intel, and trade show networking

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and delivery schedules

• Assess and approve grain quality in alignment with plant standards

• Monitor crop shifts, weather patterns, global demand, and CBOT movements

• Use USDA and commodity data to guide risk-based pricing decisions

• Maintain partnerships that secure consistent, high-quality supply

You’ll operate as the connector between growers, processors, and market timing, helping producers win and helping the operation stay competitive.

• At least 3 years of grain procurement, merchandising, or ag sales

• Decisive negotiator who loves contracts, pricing, and supplier management

• Understanding of elevators, processing plants, or ag commodities

• Existing grower or broker relationships are a major plus

• Bachelor’s in Agriculture, Ag Business, Economics, or similar (or equivalent experience)

?? Work Environment

Expect a blend of office/plant exposure (dust, noise, heat/cold) and occasionally lifting grain samples (up to 50 lbs). You’ll spend time in rural/ag spaces and work alongside operations, maintenance, safety, and compliance teams.
