Maintenance Technician

Located in Cedar City, UT

Salary: 20-40/hr

Local production plant seeking a Maintenance Technician.  Hours are M-F 7a-5p, full-time, long-term. Pay is $20-$40/hr depending on skills and experience. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on construction equipment including trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Maintain service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with equipment setup and calibration for job sites.
• Work collaboratively with field crews and supervisors to ensure equipment readiness.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work in various field conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
