Senior Buyer – Drive Procurement Excellence in Manufacturing

Are you a results-driven procurement professional ready to make a tangible impact? We are seeking a Senior Buyer to source materials, manage suppliers, and ensure production runs smoothly. This role combines tactical procurement with strategic supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services to support operations.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and secure the best pricing and terms.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure on-time delivery to meet production needs.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Production, and Customer Service to meet delivery requirements.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Post-secondary education in materials management, supply chain, or business (SCMP designation a plus).
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with a positive, proactive mindset.
