Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) Welder to join a growing fabrication team. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with strong potential for long-term employment and a pay increase once converted to permanent status.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in wire welding in all positions, including uphill, downhill, overhead, horizontal, and vertical, and able to meet quality and production standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform GMAW (MIG/wire) welding on metal components and assemblies

• Weld in all positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead, uphill, downhill)

• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols

• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications

• Maintain welding equipment and a clean, safe work area

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality weld standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a GMAW / MIG Welder

• Ability to weld in all positions

• Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices

• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred

• Ability to pass a weld test / practical welding interview prior to starting

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Weld Test / Interview Process
