Express is actively recruiting a Maintenance Technician with pool maintenance experience for a well-established property management company in Madison. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations and ensuring that all apartment units, construction projects, and common areas are maintained to high standards.
Perform maintenance tasks: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, and general construction
Assist with unit turnarounds and ongoing construction (40+ units under renovation)
Handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs
Maintain accurate documentation in property management software
Comply with OSHA and safety protocols
Participate in on-call rotation
Snow/ice removal as needed
Requirements:
3+ years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or hotel settings
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair (HVAC certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
Pool maintenance and CPO certification a plus
Excellent communication skills
Hotel or multifamily property maintenance experience is a bonus
Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts)
Weekend and on-call availability required
