Shipping & Receiving/Utility Technician (1st Shift)

Tucker/Stone Mountain, GA

 

Express Employment Professionals Atlanta NE location has an opportunity for an experienced Shipping & Receiving/Utility Technician in the Stone Mountain/Tucker area. 

 

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in shipping and receiving, chemical warehousing, and product packaging procedures is a plus.
• Experience in Industrial Chemicals/ Hazardous materials/ HazMat/ DOT/ OSHA a plus.

Duties include:

• Receiving: Monitor POs for incoming raw materials and packaging.
• Shipping: Assure quality (visual), and quantity matches Bill of Lading. Notify carriers.  Pallet minimization and wrapping. Load accordingly.
• Order picking & packaging
• Forklift operation
• Inventory support monitoring
• Customer Service
• General warehouse function

Minimum Candidate Requirements:

 

• Interest in chemistry, technical compounding, and manufacturing.
• High School level math skills required.
• Pleasant, Patient Personality, ability to communicate effectively
• Must be able to accomplish task unsupervised, ask questions, and use safety procedures. 
• Organizational & Attention to details.
