Salary: $14-$16 per hour

We are hiring for a Counter Sales Associate in Dallas TX.

Requires Basic Plumbing Knowledge with the desire to learn.

 

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Dallas, TX 75227

Type: Temp to Perm

Pay: $17.00/hour - $18.00/hour DOE (plus commissions once converted)

 Duties Include:

• Collaborate with trade members, architects, builders, and homeowners to provide expert counter sales support and product recommendations.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring accurate ordering, timely delivery, and receipt of products.

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

• Work independently while contributing to a team, effectively multitasking and prioritizing projects.

• Maintain accurate, organized files and documentation.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with trade customers and vendors.

• Assist with warehouse stocking and receiving inventory as needed to support sales operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)  Highly Preferred
• Customer Service experience required in a Warehouse environment.
• Basic Computer Skills required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be a quick learner with that go-getter attitude
• Sales experience including suggesting parts/products and up-sales.

Required Skills:

 

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.

• Excellent time management with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

• High attention to detail.

• Initiative-driven with a strong bias for action.

• Effective team player.

Education and Experience

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.

• Wholesale distribution sales experience preferred.

• Minimum 1 year in similar sales position preferred.

• Minimum 1 year in progressive sales or design position featuring plumbing or home products preferred.
