Express Employment is seeking a hardworking and dependable candidate to fill the role of a Roadside Assistance Tire Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of truck tires for commercial vehicles while working both in the shop and on site service calls.

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate, and repair truck tires on commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose tire-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions, such as patching, replacing, or retreading tires.
• Operate tire service equipment, including mounting/demounting machines, balancers, and air tools.
• Respond promptly to roadside service calls, providing emergency tire repair and replacement as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records, documenting work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Inspect wheels and rims for damage or wear, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking tire stock and ordering supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.

Schedule and Pay:

• Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed
• $20.00-$26.00/hr

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Vocational training or certification in automotive or tire service is preferred
• Previous experience in truck tire service or related automotive field is highly desirable
• Must be comfortable working in all weather elements
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and hand tools safely
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently and perform physical labor for extended periods of time
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tire service equipment
• Basic math and record-keeping skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
• Background check
