Express Employment of West Seneca has partnered with a fabrication company in the Hamburg area to fill an immediate need for a full-time Press Brake Operator. This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door with a great company that values their employees!  

 

Full time,  Shift, Monday-Thursday 

5:00am (until 3:30pm) or 6am (until 4:30pm) Monday through Thursday with optional overtime.

Pay Rate $24-$27/hr

 

 

Responsibilities for the Press Brake Operator Position include

 

• Studying blueprints and specification sheets to understand technical requirements
• Setting a computer-controlled press brake to project specifications
• Ensuring proper positioning and alignment of metal inside the press brake
• Monitoring the pressing process
• Measuring and inspecting the finished sheet metal to ensure it matches specifications
• Troubleshooting and addressing problems that arise during the pressing process
• Performing routine maintenance on the press brake
• Complying with all health and safety standards in the manufacturing facility

 

 

Requirements for the Press Brake Operator Position include:

 

• In-depth understanding of the parts of a press brake and how the machine works
  Computer skills to operate CNC software
  Ability to remain upright and perform repetitive movements throughout most of a work shift
  Arithmetic skills to perform measurements and calculate settings
  Ability to move heavy or large pieces of sheet metal from one place to another
  Observation skills to monitor the pressing process and inspect metal after pressing
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for the manufacturing industry
  Familiarity with blueprints and the terminology used in technical specification sheets
