Concrete Truck Driver CDL B

Located in Pulaski, VA

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Concrete Truck Drivers for several locations spanning from Lexington, Virginia to Pulaski, Virginia. The driver will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver concrete to job sites in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive a ready-mix concrete truck to and from various job sites.
• Load, transport, and deliver concrete according to job specifications and customer requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy.
• Maintain proper delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch, plant operators, and site personnel.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the truck, including washing out the drum and cleaning exterior surfaces as needed.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Represent the company professionally at all times, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B or Class A CDL license.
• Current DOT medical card required.
• Clean driving record — no traffic violations, DUIs, or at-fault accidents within the past five (5) years.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience (ready-mix or construction materials experience preferred).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Physically able to climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings and some Saturdays.
