Job Title: Carpenter / Tile Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with experience in laying ceramic tile. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry fundamentals and the ability to install ceramic tile for residential and/or commercial projects with precision, durability, and high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry duties including framing, repairs, remodeling, and finish work
• Prepare surfaces for ceramic tile installation, including measuring, leveling, and waterproofing
• Cut, lay, and set ceramic tile on floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces
• Mix, apply, and spread mortar or adhesive materials
• Install grout, sealants, and trim to ensure a professional finish
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on job sites
• Clean and organize work areas upon project completion

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter with ceramic tile installation skills
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and align materials
• Familiarity with tile layout patterns and installation methods
• Understanding of basic construction math and leveling techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training or apprenticeship in carpentry or tile installation
• Experience with waterproofing systems (e.g., backer board, membranes)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
