Overnight Lot & Facility Monitor

Located in Eureka, CA

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 DOE

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Overnight Lot & Facility Monitor to help ensure the safety and security of our property during non-business hours. This role focuses on routine patrols, securing facilities, monitoring for unauthorized activity, and reporting safety concerns.

This is an observational position and does not involve law enforcement or armed security duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walking patrols of the parking lot, facility exterior, and perimeter
• Ensure restrooms, doors, and gates are locked and secure during off hours
• Monitor for unauthorized access, loitering, or suspicious activity
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter trespassing and vandalism
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and safety concerns
• Communicate promptly with management or emergency services when necessary
• Follow all company safety and reporting procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to reliably work evening/overnight shifts
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional, respectful, and calm demeanor
• Prior security or facility monitoring experience is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Ability to patrol the property multiple times per shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform routine monitoring duties

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly wage of $18.00 – $20.00, based on experience
• Overtime paid in accordance with California labor laws
• Required meal and rest breaks provided per California regulations

Hours: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
