Forklift Driver Job Summary:

Are you an experienced Forklift Driver and have shipping and receiving expertise? We are looking for a Forklift Driver/Production Support Person at one of the largest seating companies in North America. Located in Wyoming, MI, this company is looking for someone who is a team player, dependable, reliable, hard-working, and has a great attendance record and references. Forklift Driver Responsibilities:   

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and pallets throughout the facility

• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security

• Perform shipping and receiving functions, including verifying counts, inspecting materials, and matching paperwork to shipments

• Accurately stage, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations

• Use inventory systems or shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips) to track inbound and outbound materials

• Support production by delivering materials to work areas as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards

• Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or inventory discrepancies to supervision

• Assist with cycle counts and general warehouse duties as assigned

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift 6:00am-2:20pm Monday-Friday with overtime as required, company works 7 days a week at times.
• $22.66/HR

Stand up Forklift Driver Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Previous shipping experience
• Computer experience is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on an ongoing basis.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to read basic prints.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand, and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
