Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain production machinery. The Machine Operator will ensure machines run efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards while meeting production goals.

Location: Birmingham, AL 

Hours: 2nd shift 3:30pm -11:30pm 

Pay: $17-$19/hr depending on experience 

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications

• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy

• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times

• Record production data and report issues to supervisors

• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe

• Assist with changeovers and equipment adjustments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to read and follow work instructions and blueprints

• Basic mechanical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 70  lbs

• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing or production environment

• Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and industrial materials

• Standing, bending, and repetitive motions required
