We are currently hiring for a Millwork Designer in the Ancaster area. Our client was founded in 2012 and is a Custom Furniture and Millwork company – with 2 facilities totaling over 20,000 sq. ft to serve their clientele.

Overview:

As a Millwork Designer, you will be responsible for all aspects of Millwork Design. These projects are customary in nature and will require involvement with the Design, Manufacture and Installation phases.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create customer drawings for approvals. Ince approved, create the shop detail drawings
• Determine material specs
• Be aware of timelines for completion of drawings and them completion of project
• Drawings need to be updated as issues are found
• Provide items to be purchased to the purchasing manager

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with software such as Sketchup and Mosaic
• Experience and knowledge with Fusion application is an asset
• Previous experience or education in Design work is considered an asset
