We are currently hiring for a Furniture/Cabinet Maker in the Ancaster area. Our client was founded in 2012 and is a Custom Furniture and Millwork company – with 2 facilities totaling over 20,000 sq. ft to serve their clientele.

Overview:

As a Furniture / Cabinet Maker this is your chance to join a well-established and growing shop. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in craftmanship, accuracy and building high-quality custom pieces.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Build and assemble custom cabinets, furniture and millwork
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
• Cut, shape, sand, and assemble wood components
• Operate woodworking machinery (table saws, routers, sanders etc)
• Perform finishing work such as sanding, staining or prepping for finish
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace
• Work collaboratively with other shop team members

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience with power tools
• Experience with woodworking is an asset
• Previous experience with blueprints and drawings

Wage: $24.00 per hour
