Precast Plant Technician

What You’ll Do

• Clean, prepare, and set up concrete molds with liners, inserts, and embedded hardware.

• Place and tie rebar, steel components, and other reinforcements per shop drawings.

• Assist with concrete placement—guiding pours, operating vibrators, and applying finishes.

• Demold finished units, rig components, and support crane or forklift operations.

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks for cracks, defects, or inconsistencies.

• Maintain clean, organized workstations and assist with basic maintenance on tools and equipment.

• Follow all plant safety rules, PPE requirements, and OSHA regulations.

• Work as part of a fast‑moving team to meet daily production goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction methods.

• Ability to read or learn how to follow shop drawings and layout instructions.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and the willingness to learn.

• Team‑oriented mindset with attention to detail and safety.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience in precast concrete, construction, or manufacturing.

• Forklift certification or rigging experience.
