he Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas. This role supports kitchen operations by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishware and assisting with basic cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and organized kitchen environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand Properly sort, scrape, and stack items before and after washing Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, kitchen floors, trash areas, and workstations Empty trash and dispose of waste following sanitation guidelines Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Report equipment issues or safety concerns to management Support kitchen staff during peak service times Requirements and Qualifications: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 lbs Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team No prior experience required (training provided) Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment Exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, heat, and noise Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
