CDL Driver – Flatbed (Local)

Location: North Birmingham
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM start time
Hours: 40 hours minimum per week (ELD compliant)

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable CDL Driver to operate a short flatbed truck pulling a 24-foot trailer. This is a local position with consistent hours and no long-haul travel. Drivers will make deliveries primarily to customer locations where unloading is typically handled by the customer; however, drivers may occasionally use a forklift to unload.

Responsibilities:

• Operate an automatic flatbed truck safely and efficiently

• Pull and maneuver a 24-foot trailer

• Secure and transport flatbed loads

• Use a forklift to unload when required (training provided if needed)

• Complete deliveries while following ELD and DOT regulations

• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety standards

Requirements:

• Valid CDL license

• Experience pulling a 24-foot trailer and handling flatbed work

• Clean MVR

• Comfortable operating an automatic transmission

• Ability to start work at 7:00 AM
