Powder Coat Painter

Salary: $25 - $30

A company in Madison, GA is looking for Powder Coating Technicians. They complete powder coating on customized steel or metal frame and structures. 

 

• Coating application: Applying powder using manual or automated spray guns, adjusting settings as needed for part requirements. 

• Oven operation: Loading coated parts into ovens and setting the correct temperature and time for proper curing. 

• Quality control: Inspecting parts during and after processing to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. 

• Maintaining and cleaning the spray booth, ovens, and other equipment. 

• Record keeping: Completing logs and reports as needed, such as tracking powder usage or production data.  

Required skills and qualifications 

• Previous powder coating experience is preferred 

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to  50 lbs, and perform other physical tasks 

• Ability to work in a hot, industrial environment
