Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a reputable law firm in Chesterbrook to identify a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned attorneys. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and delivers high-quality client service.
Create, edit, proofread, and redline legal documents including correspondence, memoranda, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of all work product
Review attorney billing for accuracy and prepare client transmittal letters
Maintain, organize, and retrieve client and internal files within the firm’s document management system
Open, review, and route incoming mail, identifying deadline-sensitive materials
Reconcile and submit attorney expenses
Proactively manage attorney calendars, including scheduling in-person and virtual meetings
Coordinate meetings, conferences, travel, and related logistics as needed
Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and electronic correspondence
Maintain attorney contact lists and update information within the firm’s CRM and mailing systems
Process client and matter intake forms
Perform copying, scanning, and electronic filing as needed
Support additional administrative functions such as time entry, electronic signatures, credential maintenance, basic research, and CLE tracking
High School Diploma or GED required
3–5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant or in a similar law firm support role preferred
Experience with document management systems, time and billing platforms, client/matter intake, and e-filing systems preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Typing speed of 60+ words per minute
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage a high volume of work while meeting deadlines
Strong client service orientation, sound judgment, and flexibility
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
This position may require additional duties as assigned
