Fiber Laser Operator

Located in Caddo Mills, TX

Salary: $21/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Fiber Laser Operator position for a local Caddo Mill, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate fiber laser cutting machines for metal fabrication
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate cuts
• Select appropriate materials and adjust machine settings based on material type and thickness
• Program machines and perform basic computer operations related to laser cutting
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues as needed
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety protocols

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience operating fiber laser cutting equipment (CO₂ laser experience is a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders
• Understanding of laser machinery safety procedures and maintenance
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
• Physical stamina for frequent standing, bending, and walking
• Comfort working in a fabrication shop environment

Schedule and Pay 

• Training will be on the AM shift, then transition to the PM shift after 2 weeks
• $1.00/hour pay increase when rolled over!
