Site Operations Manager - Recycling & Logistics
 
Position Summary
The Site Operations Manager oversees all Post Outlet and Operations and is responsible for overseeing all daily recycling, warehouse, and logistics operations. This role involves managing a team, administrative functions, optimizing processes for efficiency and safety, and ensuring financial and regulatory compliance to meet organizational goals.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Direct all facility operations, including material processing, dock activities, and logistics.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Safety & Compliance: Manage and enforce safety programs, equipment maintenance, and facility organization to ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
  • Equipment & Fleet Management: Oversee the status, repair, and maintenance of all operational equipment and fleet vehicles.
  • Budgeting & Finance: Assist in the planning and ongoing management of a significant departmental budget, analyzing financial data to improve profitability and resource allocation.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement strategic solutions and best practices to optimize workflows and productivity.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to achieve organizational objectives and provide excellent customer service.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, recycling, or similar field with supervisory responsibilities of 50+ employees.

·         Must have excellent communication skills. 

·         Must have excellent analytical, creative, and flexible problem-solving and decision-making skills.

·         Must demonstrate a maturity of practice using the 5 pillars and principles of servant leadership.

·         Exhibit respect for diversity of thought and have experience to advance it in teams/organization.

·         High School Diploma or equivalent.

·         Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License.
