Seeking a tax specialist (EA or CPA required) with experience preparing all types of tax returns and working with clients at all financial levels .The CPA /EA will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax return filings for individuals, pass-through entities, corporations, and trusts.

 

 

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and filing individual, business, nonprofit, trust, gift, and estate tax returns
• Monthly bookkeeping, year-end close-outs, and preparing monthly management statements
• Representing taxpayers to the IRS, state tax agencies, and other local tax authorities
• Advising clients in tax, accounting, and business matters
• Assisting business clients with various compliance filings
• Various components of business administration, ongoing training, and general business tasks

 

Requirements:

• Active CPA license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of progressive tax experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. tax laws, including partnership, S-corporation, and C-corporation taxation, and related reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace (Google Docs and Sheets).
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop) and systems is preferred.
