Flat Bed Truck Driver - CDL -B

Salary: $18 - $20 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and efficient candidates for a Flat Bed Truck Driver position with an Established Family-Owned Hardware and Lumber Company. Candidates must have a CDL- B license. This position will pay between $18 - $20 / hour depending on experience. The hours are Monday - Friday from 6:30 A.M.- 3:30 P.M. with possible overtime during busier months.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a Flat bed truck to deliver materials - Routes can be up to 1 hour - 1.5 hours from office
• Ensure all materials are secured properly prior to transport
• Perform manual unloading when necessary (carrying doors, trim, related items)
• Complete delivery documentation, including invoices and confirmations using a company issued app
• Provide professional customer service
• Maintain a clean vehicle
• Operate a moffett forklift to unload materials at customer sites
• Conduct pre and post-trip inspections
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Must have CDL - B license
• Must have valid Driver’s License and clean MVR record
• Previous forklift experience is preferred 
• Must be professional
• Possesses customer service skills
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel Toed Boots.
