Business Development Associate (Full-Time, Permanent)

Salary: $50,000–$72,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of our agricultural technology client for a Business Development Associate to support the growth of their flagship products. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who enjoys combining sales, marketing, and customer onboarding in the agri-food space.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies for bioTracks and bioLinks
• Define product positioning, pricing/packaging, and messaging for key customer segments (producers; small–mid processors/retailers)
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through producer events, industry associations, webinars, and targeted digital campaigns
• Prospect, present demos, prepare proposals, and negotiate sales opportunities
• Create sales and marketing assets including case studies, ROI one-pagers, demo scripts, emails, landing pages, and short videos
• Plan and host webinars; represent the company at tradeshows and producer/industry events
• Lead client onboarding and provide first-line support, including livestock management, record keeping, genetics data, traceability, breeding, and birth records
• Support new clients with system setup and adoption
• Maintain disciplined CRM usage in HubSpot
• Capture product feedback, log issues clearly, and confirm resolutions with internal teams

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven ability to prospect, follow up on leads, and convert demos into opportunities
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Solution-oriented and self-directed
• Personable, professional, and able to build rapport easily
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new concepts quickly
• Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM systems is an asset
• Interest or experience in agriculture, livestock, or agri-tech is strongly preferred
