The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals in Ithaca NY is recruiting a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity with an Ithaca area company. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving line-build issues, utilizing ERP systems to analyze data, providing comprehensive factory support, and ensuring the implementation of clear procedures and documentation. Your programming skills and experience will be essential for excelling in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve line-build issues to optimize manufacturing processes
• Utilize ERP systems to analyze data and extract meaningful insights for process improvement
• Provide extensive factory support to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
• Develop and implement clear procedures and documentation to maintain consistency and facilitate knowledge transfer
• Apply programming skills to develop applications and software tools for manufacturing operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related manufacturing engineering, manufacturing management, or programming role
• Demonstrated proficiency in software tools and programming languages such as LabView, .NET, C#, Visual Studio, and more
• Strong knowledge of Lean Principles and their application in manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of electro-mechanical components helpful
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in MRP and ERP systems
