A company in Tallapoosa is looking for MIG Welders with Structural Steel Fabrication and a Company in Carrollton is looking for experienced Fabricators must have experience cutting, bending, reading blueprints and precise measuring. These candidates will be responsible for welding structural steel components, reading blueprints, and fabrication, This company is looking for candidates that have 2+ years experience with MIG Welding and Structural Steel Fabrication. 

Core techniques & processes 

• Cutting: sawing, sharing, plasma cutting, torch cutting.
• Forming/Blending: Shaping metal using press brakes, hammers, or rollers.
• Welding: Joining pieces with heat (MIG, TIG, Stick) 
• Blueprint Reading: Understanding technical drawings, dimensions and symbols.

Responsibilities:

• MIG Welding
• Structural Steel Fabrication
• Read and understand blueprints
• Must have Mig, Stick, Flux-Core welding experience
• Knowledge of welding machines and gases
• Cutting and welding materials according to technical plans
• Welds produced must meet the standards 

Essential Tools & Equipment 

• Hand Tools: Hammers, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers.
• Power Tools Angle grinders, drills, saws, sanders.
• Measuring Tools Tape measures, calipers, micrometers

Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of welding experience
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of Structural Steel Fabrication experience
• Must have experience with Mig, Stick, and Flux-core welding
• Must have Blueprint Reading understanding technical drawings, dimensions, and symbols.
• Material knowledge understanding how different metals behave (e.g., When heated)
• Must have your own gear (Welding hood, gloves, sleeves, and steel-toe boots)
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
• Must be available to work 12-hour shift Monday - Friday and available to work Saturdays   

Schedule: 1st shift, with overtime on Saturdays
