Our Client, a Car Salvage and Insurance Auto Auction Company in Cicero, IN has asked us to help them find a Receiver/Detailer to join their team as they expand their services at their auction yard. You will help manage their inventory of cars by taking pictures of incoming cars, removing decals, and preparing vehicles for auction by cleaning them out and doing some minor detailing. In addition, you will help maintain the yard including using a weed-eater, spraying for weeds, snow removal, and keeping car pieces and trash picked up.

 

The work is outdoors.

 

If you have heavy machine operating or forklift experience, you will also move cars using a front-end loader equipped with long forks. In addition, you will need a clean driving record as you will drive our client’s pickup truck around the yard as you work, and you also will drive cars to be auctioned when they are drivable.

 

What will you receive as a Receiver/Detailer?

• $20.00 per hour.
• If you don’t have heavy equipment experience, our client will train you so you can gain this valuable experience.
• This is an evaluation, contract-to-hire opportunity. Assuming you like our client and they like you, you can be hired permanently in 3-4 months!

What experience will you have as a Receiver/Detailer?

• Prior experience receiving, detailing, working outdoors, driving, and/or using a front-end loader, forklift or bobcat.
• A firm handshake and "can-do" attitude.
