Job Description: Certified Boom Crane Operator

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Certified Boom Crane Operator to support our clients busy operations. This role is critical for safely and efficiently handling crane operations on commercial roofing and construction project sites.

What You’ll Do:
🔹 Operate boom cranes and related lifting equipment to support material handling and placement on job sites.
🔹 Precisely move roofing materials, structural components, and equipment to designated heights and locations.
🔹 Communicate clearly with ground crews, foremen, and site supervisors to coordinate lifts.
🔹 Conduct pre-operation inspections and perform routine maintenance on crane equipment.
🔹 Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
🔹 Ensure load integrity and proper rigging before each lift.

Qualifications & Requirements

✔ Must hold a current Crane Operator Certification (NCCCO or equivalent)
✔ Proven experience operating boom cranes in construction or roofing environments
✔ Strong understanding of OSHA and job site safety standards
✔ Ability to read load charts and perform accurate set-ups
✔ Excellent communication and team coordination skills
✔ Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude
