CNC Machinist (Nightshift)

 

Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay: $25–$35 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
Job Type: Full-Time (Night Shift)

 

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our night-shift team in Shreveport, LA. The ideal candidate will have strong machining skills, the ability to read and interpret technical documents, and experience working with precision measuring tools. Mazatrol machine experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

• Use measuring tools including micrometers, scales, steel rulers, and calipers

• Perform hydraulic torque procedures as required

• Conduct hydrostatic testing in accordance with specifications

• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed

• Follow all safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Previous CNC machining experience required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, scales, steel rulers)

• Experience with hydraulic torque and hydrostatic testing preferred

• Mazatrol (Mazak) machine experience highly valued

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work night shift hours reliably

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Familiarity with tight tolerances and quality control standards

• Technical or vocational training in machining is a plus
