Production Associate

Located in Gravette, AR

Salary: $15.00

The Production Associate position is responsible for performing various warehouse activities including receiving, inputting, sorting, loading, and unloading products. They organize stock, maintain inventory, and process, pack, and ship orders.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process, pick and pack orders accurately.
• Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins.
• Inspect products for damage; report as needed.
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed.
• Assist in unloading shipments from delivery truck.
• Use dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock.
• Prepare products for shipping.
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
• Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs.
• Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
• Solid communication skills and inventory skills
• Work well with a team.
• Demonstrate basic math and solid problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate awareness of proper warehouse and factory safety procedures.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Proven work experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Time is spent in a stockroom, warehouse, or loading dock receiving and transporting deliveries.
• The ability to stand for long periods and moderate to heavy physical labor such as lifting and moving heavy items (at least 50 lbs.) is required on a regular basis.
• Temperature in the warehouse/production area varies according to external climate.
