Construction Project Manager ( out of town projects )

Salary: $60, 000 to $100000

Our client is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager with 10+ years of experience leading and delivering construction projects. Strong experience in new builds and renovation work is highly valued . Experience working on remote communities is an asset but not required. Professional designations such as C.E.T. , PMP or P. Eng will be considered strong advantages.

 

This role requires periodic trave to out-of-town project sites to oversee progress and meet with clients.The succesful candidate will also support upcoming real estate development initiatives in Selkirk. Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules , and budgets using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smoot communication and project progress.
• Utilize tools like Bluebeam for document review, mark up and collaboration on schematics and drawings
• Manage procurement processes including construction estimating to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
• Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor project timelines using time management techniques to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Prepare progress reports, change orders, and other documentation required for project tracking and client updates
• Lead project meetings to align team efforts and resolve issues promptly 
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and building codes throughout the construction process
