Cutting Operator

Located in Candler, NC

Salary: $21.44/hr

A leader in metal manufacturing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Insulation Cutting Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and preparing materials used in their product. Opportunity and expectation to learn welding to provide support to the fabrication team as well. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, efficient, and committed to producing high-quality work.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, and cut materials using manual or automated cutting tools
• Read and interpret production orders, measurements, and blueprints
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all cut materials before they move to assembly
• Maintain proper inventory levels and report material shortages or defects
• Operate equipment safely and follow all company safety protocols
• Keep the cutting area clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Collaborate with assembly and fabrication teams to support production flow
• Perform additional production duties as needed

Schedule is:

Monday-Friday 6AM to 2:30PM $21.44HR
