What You’ll Do

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers warmly and assess their needs
• Recommend merchandise, services, and repair options
• Educate customers on jewelry care and long‑term value
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business

Evaluation & Purchasing

• Evaluate and appraise jewelry for quality, authenticity, and value
• Test gemstones and precious metals using professional tools
• Provide accurate pricing for loans, buys, and trades

Repair & Maintenance

• Perform professional jewelry repairs, including ring sizing, stone setting, chain repair, clasp replacement, polishing, and more
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, special orders, and custom projects
• Ensure all work meets high craftsmanship standards

Inventory & Merchandising

• Price, tag, and display merchandise
• Monitor and replenish inventory
• Maintain a secure, organized sales floor and repair workspace

Compliance & Security

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations
• Complete proper documentation for all jewelry transactions

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required; formal gemology or jewelry repair training preferred
• Previous experience in jewelry sales, repair, or appraisal
• Strong knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry construction
• Proficiency with jewelry repair tools and techniques
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to accurately appraise and price jewelry in a retail/pawn environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail setting
