Metal Framing Carpenter - Saucier

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Framing Carpenter to work on commercial construction projects in the Saucier, MS area. The ideal candidate will fabricate, assemble, and install metal framing components for commercial buildings, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires experience with metal studs, tracks, and related materials in a commercial construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications for commercial projects.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install metal studs, tracks, and framing components for commercial buildings.
• Measure, cut, align, and secure materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with other trades, supervisors, and project teams to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Must have 3+ years of experience as a metal framer or carpenter in commercial construction projects.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and layout plans.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and metalworking equipment safely.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in commercial construction.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
