Full time – Temp to hire

Monday thru Friday – 5am to 1:30pm

$24hr to $26hr depending on experience.

Summary: Seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Raw Material Inventory Receiving Clerk to support our paper converting operation. This role is responsible for accurately receiving, verifying, and tracking all inbound raw material (paper) used in manufacturing. The ideal candidate will maintain precise inventory records, prepare routine reports, communicate effectively across departments, and assist in developing improved processes for inventory handling. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong computer proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify all incoming raw materials, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders, and packing lists.
  • Maintain real-time inventory records through ERP system and Microsoft Excel.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for Accounting, Planning, and Warehouse Management.
  • Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or quality concerns promptly to appropriate departments.
  • Develop, document, and improve inventory and receiving procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper tagging, labeling, and storage of raw materials.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal inventory control standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth and timely material flow to production.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in inventory, receiving, or warehousing (manufacturing industry experience preferred).
  • Strong computer skills, ERP system experience and Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (required)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-departmental teams.
