Job Summary:

Express in Johnson City is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential or commercial carpentry and be capable of reading blueprints, using various tools, and completing high-quality construction or renovation work on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools

• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, flooring, cabinets, and drywall

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to meet client requirements

• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures

• Ensure work complies with building codes, health and safety regulations

• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other tradespeople

• Maintain a clean and safe job site

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role

• Proficient in using electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, levels, etc.)

• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods

• Ability to read technical documents and drawings

• Good physical condition and endurance

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship is a plus

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
