Express Employment Professionals in Paducah, KY is now hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Burning Machine Operator for a local client. This position involves operating CNC or manual burning machines (plasma, oxy-fuel, or laser) to cut metal materials to precise specifications.
Operate cutting machines safely and efficiently
Load and unload metal plates and sheets onto machine tables
Set up equipment and adjust for proper cutting tolerances
Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and job instructions
Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work areas clean
Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Previous experience operating burning/cutting machines or working in metal fabrication preferred but not required
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for extended periods
Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
Team player with a willingness to learn and follow directions
High school diploma or GED preferred
