Manufacturing Group in high-tech manufacturing industry offering end-to-end manufacturing solutions to the aerospace, defense, medical, automation, and industrial vertical markets is looking for experienced Swiss CNC Machinist. 

 Job Summary 

The Swiss Machinist will operate and maintain Swiss-style CNC lathes to produce high-precision components for industries such as medical devices, aerospace, and automotive. This role requires expertise in reading technical drawings, selecting optimal tooling, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure exceptional product standards.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC to manufacture precision parts for medical, aerospace, and automotive applications.
• Interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to guide machining operations. Interpret GD&T tolerancing.
• Choose appropriate tools, inserts, and machine parameters to enhance efficiency and ensure part quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to maintain peak machine performance.
• Partner with engineering and quality assurance teams to refine processes and elevate product standards.
• Conduct in-process inspections and verify parts meet strict tolerances and quality benchmarks.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Other duties as assigned

 

Educations & Experience

Two years work experience in a manufacturing environment and OJT training as needed.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions. Ability to transfer metric into decimal equivalent.
