Job Summary

The Daily Courier is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of packages, documents, and other items to designated locations. This role requires strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude. Couriers may travel by car, bike, or foot depending on delivery needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages, documents, or parcels according to assigned routes and schedules
• Verify delivery information and obtain signatures or proof-of-delivery as required
• Maintain communication with dispatchers, supervisors, or customers regarding delivery updates
• Handle packages carefully to avoid damage
• Organize daily load and plan efficient delivery routes
• Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines
• Maintain delivery vehicle (fueling, cleanliness, basic inspections) if applicable
• Report delays, issues, or delivery exceptions promptly
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive or valuable items
• Use mobile delivery apps, scanners, or GPS systems to track and complete deliveries

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (for driving roles)
• Ability to lift and carry packages, typically 10–50 lbs
• 1 year of Delivery Experience Required
• Strong navigation and route-planning skills
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Basic smartphone or handheld device proficiency
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
