Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, website, social media, and inbound calls.
- Assist customers with billing, outage updates, credit info, and product details.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently, striving for first-contact resolution.
- Use independent judgment to analyze and resolve customer issues.
- Accurately create trouble tickets and update customer accounts as needed.
- Provide clear, well-written responses to online inquiries with proper grammar and spelling.
- Promote and improve self-service options to enhance the customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and share ideas with the team.
- Work both independently and collaboratively to meet service levels.
- Support storm response efforts and attend required training sessions.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Customer service experience preferred (call center experience a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond professionally via phone and online channels.
- Ability to multi-task, analyze information, and interpret technical instructions.
- Comfortable using basic computer applications and working on the phone for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work overtime and assist with storm duty when needed.
