The HOA Association Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the homeowners’ association, ensuring compliance with governing documents, managing financials, and maintaining community standards. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, homeowners, vendors, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Management
    • Implement and enforce HOA policies and procedures in accordance with governing documents.
    • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and reports for Board meetings.
    • Maintain accurate records of homeowner accounts, association documents, and correspondence.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with the Board.
    • Oversee collection of assessments and manage delinquent accounts.
    • Review and approve invoices, monitor expenses, and ensure financial transparency.
  • Vendor & Contract Management
    • Source, negotiate, and manage contracts for maintenance, landscaping, and other services.
    • Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Community Relations
    • Respond promptly to homeowner inquiries and concerns.
    • Foster positive relationships among residents and promote community engagement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in HOA or property management.
  • Strong knowledge of HOA laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
