Job Summary:
The Bilingual Receptionist serves as the first point of contact, providing administrative and clerical support in a fast-paced tax office environment, ensuring exceptional client service through fluency in both English and Spanish. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Interaction: Greet, welcome, and assist clients in person and over the phone in both English and Spanish, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere.
  • Scheduling: Manage and coordinate client appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Communication: Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls; handle email correspondence.
  • Document Management: Receive, review, organize, scan, and file sensitive client tax documents and correspondence.
  • Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry for client information and basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Tax Season Support: Assist tax preparers by gathering necessary client information and preparing files.
  • Office Operations: Maintain supplies, keep common areas tidy, process payments, and handle general administrative duties. 
 
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure, especially during peak tax seasons. 
  • Must be able to pass a background check
