Express Employment is seeking a highly organized Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join a client’s team in Bettendorf, IA!

Key responsibilities of the Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Accurately process and post vendor invoices, payments, and related accounts payable documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements and verify credit card and expense report documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse teams to ensure accurate costing and paperwork for inventory purchases.
• Maintain vendor files, including setting up new vendors, scanning documents, and preparing month-end accruals.
• Assist with various accounting tasks such as 1099 processing, wire transfer documentation, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk:

• 1–2 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
• Basic computer proficiency, including Word and Excel
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Specialized training and/or an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field

Compensation & Schedule for the Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Pay $18-21/hr.
• Schedule: 1^st shift Full time
•  Monday – Friday
