Design & Sales Support Location: Salem, OR Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm Office closed on federal holidays + occasional additional closures Pay: $21–$26/hr, DOE
This role serves as a key connector between customers, sales, administration, and the install team. Strong communication, accuracy, and customer service are essential. CAD tasks can be learned on the job, and cross-training opportunities are available.
Enter and submit purchase orders and sales orders
Interpret sales notes to create estimates or work orders
Assist walk-ins and phone inquiries, relay accurate notes to sales staff
Process warranty requests, create related sales/work orders, and submit required paperwork to manufacturers
Convert customer or sales-provided room/building details into CAD drawings
Provide layout ideas and basic design options (training provided)
Proficiency with Outlook and Excel
Strong general computer skills
Excellent customer service
Clear communication and thorough note-taking
AutoCAD or design experience or willingness to learn
