Design & Sales Support

Location: Salem, OR 
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Office closed on federal holidays + occasional additional closures
Pay: $21–$26/hr, DOE

Position Overview

This role serves as a key connector between customers, sales, administration, and the install team. Strong communication, accuracy, and customer service are essential. CAD tasks can be learned on the job, and cross-training opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and submit purchase orders and sales orders

• Interpret sales notes to create estimates or work orders

• Assist walk-ins and phone inquiries, relay accurate notes to sales staff

• Process warranty requests, create related sales/work orders, and submit required paperwork to manufacturers

• Convert customer or sales-provided room/building details into CAD drawings

• Provide layout ideas and basic design options (training provided)

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with Outlook and Excel

• Strong general computer skills

• Excellent customer service

• Clear communication and thorough note-taking

• AutoCAD or design experience or willingness to learn
