Practice Manager (Medical Office / Clinic Operations)

Pay Range: $28–$35/hr
Location: San Bernardino must be able to Travel to other locations as needed . Palm Springs to Victorville

Express Employment of San Bernardino is recruiting a Practice Manager to oversee the operational side of a busy medical clinic. This role allows the physician to fully focus on patient care while you manage day-to-day operations, staff support, and compliance. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, organized, proactive, and confident running the business side of a healthcare practice independently.

This position is perfect for someone with experience in medical office management, clinic operations, or healthcare administration who is ready to take ownership of compliance, billing, workflow optimization, and staff leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA
• Support billing, accounts payable, and financial tracking
• Develop and improve SOPs, CQI processes, and operational workflows
• Assist with community outreach, growth initiatives, and planned multi-location expansion
• Manage administrative staff and act as direct operational support to the physician
• Ensure consistent, high-quality patient and staff experience through organized practice management

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Experience in office or practice management
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and workflow-management skills
• Ability to manage staff schedules, administrative tasks, and daily operations
• Professional communication skills and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Comfortable with EMR/EHR systems (Electronic Medical Records)
• Valid driver’s license for local travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in mental health programs, behavioral health, or related settings
• HR exposure (hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and staff support)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience with compliance, quality assurance, or community outreach
