Full time Direct hire opportunity for Audiology Assistant

 

Assists audiologists during appointments and diagnostic procedures, perform basic hearing aid maintenance, check hearing aids for functionality, include phone and re-pairing and battery replacement.

Track and keep hearing aids charged and ready for patient appointments

Enter audiograms and chart notes

Prepare diagnositic equipment for scheduled appointments

Educate patients on hearing aid care and battery replacement

Sanitize patient area and equipment between appointments

Check in hearing aids and send off repairs as needed

Package and ship hearing aids to manufacturers

Call hearing aid manufacturers to order supplies and track shipments

Schedule patient appointments/manage clinic calendars

Call patients to confirm appointments and collect necessary information

Answers phones and respond to patient inquiries

Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, prior approvals, and collect required paperwork

 

2-4 years of experience in a medical setting - Audiology department

Audiology graduates encouraged to apply - credentialing will be done by the clinic

Medical Assistants with audiology clinic experience encouraged to apply.

 

Must pass background check and drug screen

 

Salary will commemsurate with experience to offer

 

Immediate hire! 2 weeks training will be required
