Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales

Salary: $16-$17/Hour

We are seeking an energetic Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join a wholesale hardware business in Sarasota. 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am-4pm
Compensation: $16–$17/hour, depending on experience. Eligible to earn commission after successful completion of the evaluation period.

Position Summary:
The Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting customers via phone and in person, processing orders, and providing product information. This role also involves following up on existing orders through outbound calls and supporting day-to-day operations of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer customer calls, take orders, and assist with questions regarding products.

• Greet and assist walk-in customers at the sales counter.

• Follow up on orders already in the system through outbound calls.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Utilize computer systems and software to process orders and maintain accurate records.

• Quickly address and resolve problems or customer concerns as they arise.

• Collaborate with team members to support operational goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or inside sales preferred.

• Strong communication and active listening skills.

• Ability to problem-solve and think quickly under pressure.

• Comfort using computers and various software applications.

• Bilingual skills a plus.

• Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively.
