Schedule: Flexible hours, M-F with alternating Saturdays.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Ready-Mix Block Dispatcher to join our team in the Homosassa, FL area. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in a dispatcher role, ideally in the ready mix or construction industry. As a dispatcher, you will be handling and processing block delivery orders received via phone, email, and text, while coordinating block trucks to optimize routes and efficiency. You will also prepare precise load sheets for the block yard. As a dispatcher, you serve as the central hub, scheduling and overseeing deliveries, maintaining clear communication with customers, and ensuring daily operations run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming customer calls and respond to inquiries.
• Schedule and dispatch drivers for ready mix deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Serve as the point of contact for contractors, drivers, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate with contractors regarding delivery times, including informing them of any delays.
• Monitor the status of deliveries and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer needs.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Prior logistical or dispatching experience required (truck dispatch experience preferred).
• Strong communication skills to effectively manage contractor and driver relationships.
• Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts (starting as early as 5:30AM) and every other Saturday.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the construction or ready-mix industry is a plus.
